Pearson Family Portraits // Gulf Breeze,FL Photography
Last year my friend Katrina approached me asking me if I would take photos of her family which included her brother Daniel and his wife April plus their little girl. To which of course I eagerly agreed. I met the lovely couple the year before at a local group that is dedicated to helping the elderly with their yard needs. I knew that this session would be very special because this family was very special. And not in the special you say to be nice but the special you say for people who you admire.
You see this family is a family of heroes in my book. They are the type of friends you would dream of having and the type of strangers you want to talk to. I see the joy fills every part of them when they are allowed to serve others. I have had many opportunities to work alongside them through the last few years. I can see how happy they are when in their element and getting their hands dirty doing tough jobs for people in need. And it’s not just the this little family, it’s their entire family. These to me is what I call family goals. So again this was very exciting for me to do this for them.
In all of our excitement the year came and went. We knew it would happen it was just a matter of when. So after almost a year of putting off this gorgeous session we finally settled on a date that worked for all of us. In the middle of busy December we decided we should get his done before the year ended. We joked about how it would never get done but we finally had a official date that we would meet.
I was so excited when the day finally came and we would actually get these photos done for once and for all. The weather was looking a bit cloudy but we were determined to get them done anyways. Even though it sprinkled a little during the session and we decided that we would wait bit under a tree. Boy were we happy when the rain came and left leaving us the most beautiful sky behind. You really can’t beat the true beauty of a Florida day.
The beautiful Florida landscape was gently kissed and refreshed. Everything shined and glistened with new drops that sat on the leafy greens. I always get my clients to go on a little adventure with me through the wooded lot. I have many special places that are a must for my signature poses. One spot in particular that I love is the robust flower patch that’s filled with the sweetest little white flowers. It’s always such a treat to take anyone out there. I promised the little lady if she would just help me out a bit I would happily take her over there for her close up.
Always a playful bunch, the Pearson Family brought out their A-game and together we created some timeless photos. The little lady of the family especially thrilled to take some lovely photos in the patch of white flowers as I had hoped she would. Daniel and April looked so much in love and you could feel it all around the salty air.
I wish I could narrow down my faves but honestly this session could not have been more perfect! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do. Also may I add once this gallery was delivered April already inquired about scheduling a possible summer session.
Thank you again Pearson Family! - Jessica
