We were so fortunate to get this vivid brilliant skies the early morning we had our scheduled photo session. I live for clouds like this. I was so excited and knew that these edits would be out of this world. It was quite foggy when I did show up to the beach though. Sunrise skies are the best but you only have a small window before the sun comes out and is greatly bright and harsh. You must be fast and get all of the portraits in before that harsh lighting comes in. Once the sun rises you can then get the some great action photos of the family just enjoying the beach running around on the beach or splashing around in the waters edge. 

Jana had inquired about a possible shoot months earlier then decided right before she arrived to officially confirm her session.  I was glad to be be able to get her on the schedule last minute. I can usually accommodate my clients and fit them in somehow. I offer sunrise, pre-sunset and sunset photo sessions. I can also accommodate for weather reschedules should we not be able to complete our session at it’s designated time.

These little ones did great so early in the morning especially her little one who was all smiles. Her oldest son required a little bribing but sure enough we were able to pull off a perfect session. I bring bribes to my sessions for the little ones, there my secret is out! LOL…

My brides are little and often easy to incorporate into the session like bubbles, seashells, and giant balloons. These all photograph really well. I encourage all parents especially of little ones who do not walk to bring in a blanket to place their child on during the shoot while I get their close ups.

 I enjoy a great sunrise session and often it is easier to get the little ones to do what you need them to do earlier in the morning. Evenings are great too but when you try to bride a kid with a goody for the next day that feels like forever to a 5 year old you don’t often get the same eagerness.

Overall I could not of asked for a more lovelier session. I am so thankful that the E. Family was gave me a opportunity to capture these incredible moments for them!- Jessica
