Getting the most out of your session // Jessica Salort Photography

Getting the most out of your photo session is what I am here to help you with. Let's get started.

1.Wardrobe is a big one. Clothing must fit right. No loose or ill fiting clothes. Also, you'll want to want to feel good at the same time. Happy shopping! If your outfit is off. It could really dampen the mood of the session.

2.Practice your smiles. It may seem silly, but seriously practice. Maybe you're a full teeth smile or a slight no teeth grin. You are going to have these photos for a very long time so make sure you don't get stuck with a akward duck lips face.

3.Mentally prepare. I remember always hearing talk about how modeling was so easy, but it's so mental. You have to bring the confidence. Don't be shy. These are for you and no matter how dumb you think you may look, it's not the case at all. A great photographer will capture poses that suit you. Trust the process. When I feel anxious I repeat little mantras to help me get through stressful times. Find one works best for you.

4.If you have little ones, I always encourange you to familiarize your little ones with your photographer's image. Remind them that they will be taking photos with so and so. We want to make sure they arrive to a friendly face.

5.Just relax and have a good time.
