Magestic Maternity Session on Navarre Beach // Maternity Portraits // Jessica Salort Photography
Maternity Sessions on Navarre Beach are the perfect destination for all of your beach portraits! This gorgeous beach does not disappoint. With silky white sands and the bluest water it's no wonder why people near and far flock to our beaches year after year.
This happy family didn't have to travel far though. They are residents of our sweet town. And as you can see they are expecting a little baby in the next month!
This session was a surprise for the expectant mother and her family given to her by a very generous family member. Her last family photos had been a while back and it was now her time commemorate this season in her life.
I met Chanelle a week before her session and we went over wardrobe ideas. I now have a maternity closet which currently consists of over 40 gowns that I lend to my expected mothers. We tried on all the dresses to see which ones would look best on her. She picked out a great ivory lace dress that fit her perfect. However the day of her actual session she arrived in the most stunning lavender lace gown. Her hair all wrapped up and adorned with pink roses. And glowing from cheek to cheek. I was mesmerized.
With one look to her I was like "Girl you are glowing, you look like a goddess." To which she just smiled. I was so excited. Also her men wore the most complimentary outfits for the occasion. I personally love the white and khaki. And they all looked like a million bucks.
Let's talk about that sky. When we arrived the sun was still sitting pretty high. So we got those deep blue skies with cirrus clouds littering the sky. Then as the sun set in the distance we received the deepest golden light turning the sky orange with speckled rays peaking through. And right when we thought we were done shooting and started walking to the parking lot we look up to see the most beautiful cotton candy sky blessing us.
I was like "Chanelle go pose, we need to get this on camera!" It's funny because we had the most intense fog the week before but somehow, someway Sunday had allowed for this to happen.
Only 1 more month before the little one arrives. I am sure that day will be just as magical! I will keep you posted. Until then if you know someone needing maternity photos send them my way! I would love to capture this beautiful time in their lives. - Jessica
