Hold them too much, Forever and Always. Children grow way too fast. My oldest left the house about a year ago. And while I am immensely proud of him, I miss him terribly. I miss everything about him. And what I often find myself missing is the 5-year-old him when he liked to watch his shows over and over. I miss the 8-year-old him when he would ask me the same question 100 times in 100 different ways. I miss the 12-year old that would come home to tell me about his day. And the 16-year-old who was never to busy for his mom. I miss it all. And while there are holidays and all those just because visits, I long for the day when I can hold him again.
