Tasha and Tevin had an adventurous start on their wedding day. They originally were getting married in a local park, but at the last minute, we were scrambling to find a new location due to a unforeseen event. Luckily for us, we live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and we have miles of gorgeous coastline that offers us the perfect backdrop to any event.

My favorite local officiant Bryan Adams was hired to perform the ceremony and suggested that we perform the ceremony in our local Marine Park. The day was quite windy, so we decided that we would start in one of the pavilions. The couple was planning to go live for their families to see them exchange wedding vows. Tasha had one of her friends set up the computers to go live. I brought along my daughter to watch their little girl during the ceremony as well.

Now the moment we were all waiting for and everything was good to go. Our bride, ready now more than ever despite all the hiccups the day threw at us, took her steps down the aisle. And as she almost arrived to meet her husband to be, the ring that sat gently on the sand ceremony table went flying across the floor. The wedding briefly paused; we scrambled to find the ring, hoping it didn't fall through one of the many cracks below. It felt like an eternity looking for that ring, and there would be no chance of ever finding this ring, but then it popped up. In a flash, we were back to wedding mode, and our bride finished her walk to her handsome groom.

The ceremony was perfect. These two were married under Florida's breezy winter winds, and nothing or no one could have stopped that. Even their little girl giggled in delight throughout the ceremony. And with a friendly cheer, their family watching from all parts of the US rejoiced with us.

What makes this story more remarkable is that I meet the family a few months earlier, right at the start of the Pandemic, to take their maternity photos. I was honored when they reached out and asked me to be there for their wedding. When I get returning customers, it tells me that I am doing something right.

Congratulations Tasha and Tevin! Wishing you all peace and love always! - Jessica
